I just moved up to a Vulcan 800 and cannot afford to keep my Savage, so it's up for sale. It is a 1996 Burgundy Savage with 24,000 miles with a NEW CAM CHAIN and TENSIONER in the engine.
I am the 2nd owner. I have all my maintenance records since 17k. It was dropped twice with all scratched items replaced or repaired. New Oil, filter, and Air filter change. No Leaks! Slitfire sparkplug. Always filled with Golden-Spectra synthetic blend 10w-40 every 3000 miles. Always filled with 93 octane (Texaco whenever available) gasoline. New rear tire. Used year round.
I am selling the savage with the following:
Title; New and unscratched Memphis Shades 15" Slims classic windshield; studded tank bib; logo highway bars; SERVICE manual and original OWNER'S manual; Original tool kit and ALL original keys; studded gel seat (has cosmetic blems from use); spare oil filter with o-rings, and spare fuel line; Willie & Max standard studded Saddlebags on supports.
I am asking $2,750.
